I had another wireless mic system from a different company prior to purchasing this one. The other mics that I had quit working after I put the batteries in reversed (+ to – and – to +). Now that I am aware, I have not put the batteries in incorrectly yet so I don’t know if the mics with this Pyle system would have the same issue or not. The first thing I noticed is that the battery life seems much better on the Pyle unit. I can use rechargable batteries and they last for a full hour. I could only get 45 minutes at best out of the old mics. I also like the fact that the antennas are on the front of the unit which is where they should to be if you have it in a cabinet. In all the Pyle system meets my needs and is the best quality I have seen so far for the price.

Purchased this system for school and Cub Scout events. I was skeptical of how well it would work for the price, but figured I could return it if it didn’t meet expectations. The mic’s work great – the output level is a little low, but most mixing boards can handle fixing that. The mic levels are adjustable to get them all roughly in the same range for output via mixed xlr. The unit also has individual channel outputs if you have plenty of channels on your mixing board. The body-pack units come with both a headset and lavalier and both work well. Overall, we were very pleased with the unit and it was a great purchase – especially for the low price. Similar 4-channel units are well over $500.

The great value wireless mic’s system! You actually get more value that expected for the price of this system once you plug it in and start enjoying it. The downside: I now have a wife and three daughters enjoying the 4 wireless mic’s singing along and karaeoking with You Tube…but they are leving me out

Update: 2nd microphone system not fully functional. 2 1/2 microphones out of 4 worked (see review for the 1/2)
The first microphone system; only 1 of the 4 microphones worked.
Sent first back (cost $12.01 for return shipping) and received a replacement.
The second microphone system; only 2 of the 4 microphones fully functional. And the one lapel pack only partial worked (1/2)(-20dB did not work).
Will have to spend another $12 for return shipping and hope the third one works…or maybe I will be able to get a refund…either way another $12 to ship back.

After the excitement of receiving the wireless mics today I plugged the mics up to my mixer..
It was great to hear the first microphone work then the disappointment set in…
The second microphone remained squelched.
I replaced the batteries (the ones that came with showed low battery)…still did not work.
I tried setting the squelch to no avail…the second microphone did not work.
On to the third microphone…this one unsquelched, however basically there was no audio (almost muted)
I tried all 4 of the microphone attachments and none helped…extremely low audio
The fourth microphone unsquelched, however absolutely no audio, again tried with all 4 microphone attachments to no avail.
It appears that there is absolutely no quality control from Pyle!
This one is going back to the seller.

I have used pa and sound systems for many years and recently installed this unit in my church…I performs OK, but for the money, I expected more… this is my second unit, I use one for DJ’ng and it could be better, it sometimes cuts in and out and one of the mic’s has already failed… it does have a 1 year warrenty on the product but Pyle will need to see all the components to fix it or replace it. The Unit is OK but I would not buy another…
